The Baby is Perfect!

We had our big 20 week ultrasound this morning and everything looked PERFECT (my midwives words exactly). We stuck to our guns and did not find out the gender. I also had her not write it on my chart so there would be no chance of someone slipping up and telling us at one of our appointments. I have gained 6 pounds total so far which makes everyone very happy. We got to see Little Bean's heart, kidneys, spine, brain, feet, and hands. My ultrasound tech also said that my uterus is anterior which explains why I am not feeling this baby move quite as much as the other ones. Also, what I thought were Braxton Hicks contractions were actually round ligament pain, which I did not have with the boys. I could have not been more pleased with my appointment. I have the cutest picture of the baby "smiling" and will post it as soon as I can figure my darn scanner out.
Have a great weekend!

Put me in coach, I'm ready to play

We signed up Ben for t-ball this spring. After a slightly rough start in the beginning, he really loved it. His favorite part was "good game and snacks" but he did manage to hit the ball and field it a couple of times. Since the kids are so little, Nate was allowed to help Ben play defense.

After a grueling season, we had his end of the year party and Ben received his first trophy.

As I have mentioned in an earlier post, not only am I pregnant but my three good friends from college are too! We were all KDs and our husbands were all FIJIs. I got to attend a fun shower for Karley who is due in July, last weekend. Miss Ella Grace got some very nice things! We took a picture of all of the preggos. Karley is on the left and she is due July 30th, Erin is due with Hannah Paige at the end of September, Baby Sanders will be here in October and Katie is expecting in December. This is the first time out of all three pregnancies that I have gotten to be pregnant with my college friends. I hope these babies will be as close as their mommies are!

The End of Kindergarten

I am not sure exactly where the year has gone, but we attended Jack's Kindergaten Graduation last Friday. The week before they had a cute program with all of the classes. Jack's class performed The Three Little Pigs and Jack was the smart pig who built his house out of brick. After his program, we had a day of fun together. We went to get a new baseball bag (which by the way was more than any bag I have bought for myself in the last 5 years) and then out to lunch. For graduation, they did a little ceremony in the classroom. I have included a picture of Jack's teacher. Needless to say, Nate did not go to any Parent-Teacher Conferences alone. ;)
