Caroline got rid of her original sin!

Since I felt like there wasn't enough going on this holiday season, I decided that last Sunday would be the perfect day to have Caroline baptized.:) She did great throughout the service...until they poured water on her head. Caroline loves baths and getting her hair washed so I was not nervous about this part. I should have been. The water was a lot cooler than Caroline was used to so she woke up with a vengance. So I am trying everything to calm her down, since 2 other babies are getting baptized as well. I was literally sweating by the time it was over. My wonderful neighbor Darby (www.darbyrosephotography.com) came to the service and took some fantastic pictures. Caroline was able to wear the dress that all of the girls on my Mom's side of the family wore.

This is What happens when Mommy is late with the bottle...

She has never cried like this in her life! I was shaking her bottle before I gave it to her and out of nowhere this started. So being the good Mom that I am, grab my cell phone to take a picture. It's good to remember the not-so-good times too!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with so many things to be thankful for this year. Nate ran his first half marathon on Thanksgiving morning. He did really well, but claims it will also be his last half marathon. We headed over to my Mom's house for dinner. All of my brothers were there, except for Michael. He is still in South Dakota. As you can tell from the picture he was definitely missed. Caroline enjoyed seeing her Uncle Joe for the first time and was really alert for Thanksgiving Dinner. Aunt Bridget came home with us on Thanksgiving night so that Nate, Caroline and I could get out early on Friday morning. I always do the majority of my Christmas shopping on Black Friday and this year it was nice to have the company. Nate and Caroline got in line while I shopped so I was able to get done much quicker. We spent the night at my parents on Friday so that Jack and Nate could be a little closer to Athens for the big game. Jack was such a trooper. He stayed in the cold and rain until the end of the game. What a true Bulldawg fan! Unfortunately Nate forgot the camera so I don't have any pictures of the game.
