Switching from Man-to-Man to Zone...

Ben is super excited to announce that in October he is going to be a big brother! We just cleared the first trimester and so far everything looks great. Since the little bean was not cooperative, we have actually had 3 ultrasounds already. The first one was to date the pregnancy, around 6 weeks. Then we had our nucleal screen last week, but they were unable to get the correct measurements so we got to go back this week. The baby was so active. I can't wait to feel the movements. I will upload an ultrasound picture as soon as I figure out the scanner.
I have started feeling much better, after 7 weeks of yuckiness! I have somehow managed to loose a pound and a half, but still be in maternity clothes already.
To add to the excitement, three of my best friends from college are also expecting babies as well.
I will keep you posted as things progress. I may even throw in a belly shot once I am further along.

Obviously due to his maternal genes...

"Jack earned a Core Total grade equivalent of 2.2 on the Level 6 test. This means that his test performance was approximately the same as that of a typical student in the second grade at the end of the second month. Jack's Core Total national percentile rank of 99 means that he scored higher than 99 percent of kindergarten students nationallly. His overall achievement appears to be high for kindergarten."

We are so proud of him! We are going to the Frosty Frog for ice cream to celebrate!

Gone Fishing

Last weekend Nate took the boys down to see his parents in South Georgia. They just recently got a new boat and the kids have been dying to take it for a test drive. It was kind of windy, but they had a blast. Nate and his Dad each caught a fish, but they were little so they threw them back. There was one casulty though. Jack was super excited to show Ben how to cast and accidently threw the entire rod into the lake.

Easter 2008

So I am the worst blogger ever and just now putting up Easter pictures. My friend Darby took the picture above of the boys. She just opened her own photography business (www.darbyrosephotography.com). The pictures below are of all of the cul-de-sac kids minus Asher and Addison. It is getting increasingly difficult to get all the kids to look and take a picture at the same time.

The boys had a blast searching for eggs. The Easter Bunny hid 36 eggs, so they had plenty of eggs to hunt while Nate and I made breakfast. We had a great Easter Lunch at my Mom and Dad's. I am a total loser and did not take any pictures there.
