Magical Night of Lights

This year the boys have been really into Christmas. Ben now understands the concept that Santa is coming and bringing presents for him and Jack. We started a couple new traditions this year. First Grams got us a new book called "Elf on a Shelf" I would highly recommend it for anyone who has small kids. The kids love waking up and searching for the elf each morning. Also we went to Lake Lanier to see the Magical Night of Lights. Mommy was bored at work one day and found out you could spend the night at Lake Lanier. So we drove up on Saturday and had dinner overlooking the lake (mud). Then we drove around and looked at all of the lights. The boys loved it! At the end of the lights they had Santa's Workshop where there were some carnival rides and you could roast marshmellows. We didn't get back to the room until late so we all went to sleep quickly. The next morning we got to have Breakfast with Santa! Both the boys did great all weekend. They are both at such fun ages for things like this. I cannot wait until Christmas morning.

Five for Five

We found out yesterday that Bridget got into Georgia! No one deserves it more. She really has worked hard all throughout high school. If she graduates in 4 years my parents will have had a child attending UGA for 14 years in a row. The boys (my brothers, not Jack and Ben) and I are figuring out how many people we can fit into Brumby for Gamedays. The picture above is from Homecoming this year. The cutie with her in the picture is her boyfriend (who for the record looks more like my sibling than Bridge does.)

Kid's Workshop

Yeah, so I may be the worst blogger ever. Sorry for the delay. We had a great Thanksgiving. We went to my parent's house and all of my brothers were in town . Here are some pictures of the kids at the Home Depot Kid's Workshop. Nate takes the boys once a month and they get to pick out what they want to build. I will try to be better about the frequency of posts!
