Eh? (they really do use that word. A lot.)

I just got back from my fun weekend in Canada with Nate. Nate is speaking at a conference in Toronto this week, so we decided to fly up a little early and have a fun weekend away. For the sake of full disclosure, my part of the trip was actually supposed to be through Tuesday but since I do SO well being away from my kids, I headed home a day early. A HUGE THANKS to Nate's parents for watching the kids while we were gone. They came up for Jack's game on Friday and then were brave enough to take 3 kids 3 hours in the car to their house. The kids had a blast! My super sweet brother and sister in law came and took them to the movies and out to lunch as well. They are so lucky to have so much family so close!
Toronto was a blast. We ate at great resturants, had a room with a great view and froze our tails off. The high didn't break 60 one day! Thankfully I looked at weather.com before we left so we were ok. We were able to score really great (free) tickets to the Blue Jays game on Sunday. That night we had a romantic dinner overlooking downtown Toronto and Lake Ontario. As an added bonus, Mr. Geography was our cab driver on the way back to the hotel. He has been on Leno and was in the Guiness Book of World Records. It was a great weekend! It was nice to spend some time with Nate since he has been traveling so much recently. I forgot how much fun we have together! I think we are going to make me tagging along to this conference a yearly traditon!

Toronto looks beautiful and it looks like y'all had a lot of fun. Sometimes you need to get away with just your hubby! It's fun! Good for y'all!
